Men, mark your calendars for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9. We’ll be resuming our weekly Bible Study and fellowship time.  Watch for more details in the Hilltopper and the bulletin next week.

AWANA will be kicking off the new ministry year on Sunday, September 12th from 5:00-6:30.  After some great praise and worship clubbers and parents will meet with their club leaders for brief orientation and then EVERYONE will enjoy ice cream.

Ladies of Lake Ridge, it’s time to mark your calendars for our annual women’s ministry kick-off! This fun and exciting event will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 13. Registration begins today for “The Cooking Show—Easy,Elegant, Entertaining”. We’ll enjoy a demonstration and a small taste of a complete meal, starting with appetizers and finishing with dessert. You’ll even get the recipes to use yourself! Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share and $3.00 to cover the cost of this gourmet tasting extravaganza! Just as a little teaser, those of you who remember any of the “Judy and Mischika Cooking Shows” know you will be in for a real treat if this “Lucy and Ethel” duo is involved….and they are! It will be great fun to be back together with all of your friends as we wind down this long, hot summer and get ready for a meaningful and interesting year of women’s ministry. We can’t wait to meet all of you who are new to Lake Ridge and hope that you will join us as we begin our year and let you know what Heart to Heart is all about.

The Awakening

Saturday, March 27th is the night of our second Awakening service. Join us at 6:00 p.m. for this time of worship and teaching designed to reach out to those in our community and to those we encounter in everyday life who might not know the Good News of Jesus Christ. The service and refreshment/fellowship time run until about 8:00 p.m.
